An imaginative, creative energetic actor, director, teacher, writer & freelance practitioner with extensive experience of working with undergraduates, adults and young people, both in an educational setting as well as in the business sector and entertainment industry. Her work has taken her throughout the UK and internationally to Switzerland on several occasions. Jo regularly co ordinates and supplies her specially trained staff as well as herself for external projects for companies such as Key 103, Virgin, Trafford Housing Trust, Womens Aid and many other charities and commercial businesses.

· Project co ordination for People First Housing Association (Voice over)

· Trainer to adults returning to education , completion straight into industry.

· Trainer adults to teach

· Outreach to adults from under privileged areas.

· Artistic Director or Footlights Theatre School, Manchester & Cheshire.

· Produced ‘Treasure island’ 2007

· Project managed young offender project

· Director & writer of smallscale production for Manchester Adventure Playgrounds, celebrating 30 years at Zion Arts Theatre.

· Project Manager responsible for coordinating team of twelve staff for provision for 70 children. (4- 12yrs old)

· Director of large scale musical play in association with Cultureshock & the Commonwealth games, involving 120 primary school children, 14 core cast members and the Northern Chamber Orchestra.

· Co-ordinator of New writing Festival at Contact Theatre.
