2ND YEAR RUNNING  - OOH YOURE SO TALENTED!

We are extremely delighted with the standard of the children at Footlights and have decided for the second year running to enter them for LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) examinations in Musical Theatre and Acting.  Last year we had a 100% pass rate and hope to achieve this once again!

LAMDA is the oldest drama school in the United Kingdom and has provided theatre and the world of television and film with generation upon generation of first class actors.  LAMDA examinations are designed to equip candidates, whatever their age and aspirations, with a range of skills that will serve them throughout life.

LAMDA Examinations is accredited as an Awarding Body by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA) of England. These awards will help your child in the future (for example - awards are recognised by universities and go toward their points).

We plan to enter all Footlights 1 for the Musical Theatre exam at Entry level and Footlights 2 and 3 for the Acting exam at Level 1 Grade 1 for last year's exam students and at Entry Level for NEW STUDENTS and those new to LAMDA.  (If your child already has a LAMDA qualification above these levels, then please let me know and we will discuss what level to enter them at.)
