During half term holidays, we sometimes only run holiday school at Stretford. If this is the case there is a pick-up service available for up to 4 children on a first-come, first-served basis.

This half term we will be only running at Stretford.

Holiday school offers all round super fun for the entire week. Your child can be dropped off with us from as early as 8.30am and stay with us until 5.30pm.

Normal lessons are from 9.30am - 4.30pm and the cost of this is just £89 for the week.

The 'early bird' drop off & late pick up is just £10 extra for the week.

In a relaxed, safe atmosphere the children are engaged all day long in art, singing, dance and drama. The emphasis of the week is to work towards a show the following Friday.

Each holiday school has a theme, for example, 'Follow the Yellow Brick Road', 'Henry V111', 'HairSpray', 'Streetvibes' etc. For this half term February 15th -19th, 2010 it’s 'House of Laughter'.

'House of Laughter' is aimed at all things comedy and over the week, the children and young people will learn sketches, songs and routines from comedy legends as well as up-to-date material and on top of this create their own unique work. We thought we would make 2010 a year of laughter and what better way to start!

The team at holiday school are our regular Footlights staff (all holding enhanced CRBS) so why not have a browse through their profiles?

Safety is key at all our venues and holiday school is no different, a full risk assessment and fire drill is completed on day one once all the children are signed in and gathered together. The front door is always locked.

We are still working on an outdoor play area for the children and All Saints have assured us this will be available in the summer. However, we are able to open the back doors at break and allow the children outside for fresh air. We are also insured to take the children to the local park (about 500 metres away) where they are always heavily supervised, at a ratio of 1 staff: 4 children, however you will be notified of any park visits and can opt out of this if you prefer.

All your child needs is a packed lunch, plenty to drink (a refillable bottle is preferred as we will top up with fresh water all day long) and they do need to wear very comfortable clothes.
