Iain enrolled at a part time stage school at 8 years old. It was at this time that he started receiving private music tuition in clarinet, piano and trumpet and voice which continued throughout his time at school. After successfully completing his GCSE’s and AS Levels in Music, Drama and Theatre Studies he was offered a place at The Cheshire School of Performing Arts to study Acting and Voice. Throughout this time Iain was actively involved in all aspects of Musical Theatre as both a performer and musician and has performed in venues across the North West including Chester, Liverpool and Manchester. He is currently at The Arden School of Theatre in Manchester studying for his BA Hons. in Musical Theatre in which he studies all aspects of Singing, Dance and Acting.

Previous credits whilst in training have included The Lion in The Wizard of Oz, Fame! The Musical, Harry the Horse in Guys and Dolls, Hortensio in Kiss Me Kate, Sam Silver in Copacabana and Fat Sam in Bugsy Malone.
Iain is also a member of The Arden School of Theatre Choir and has performed in various venues across Manchester and was chosen to represent the school in Dublin earlier last year.
Iain has been invited by the head of voice at The Arden to conduct their forthcoming Summer Concert later this year.

Iain is the Musical director at Footlights Theatre school (Lostock)
Upon completion of his Degree Iain intends to continue his Musical Theatre studies on a Post Graduate course. |
