Gemma comes to Worsley with much experience as both dancer and tutor. Her skills are extensive and her passion insurmountable as she never seems to have a space in her diary to do anything other than dance and teach! Gemma will be bringing all that focus to her new groups at Worsley and is keen to get started.
Education.
1999 – 2003 Dolphin Performing Arts/Sports College – IDTA/UKA Teaching Associate Ballet, Tap, Modern & Freestyle
2006 – Present – First Aid, Child Protection, Health & Safety, Aspersers and CIP.
2006 – 2008- John Moores university – Cert-Ed Post 16
Dance School/College Education.
Premier school of dance and drama and Dolphin Dance Studios.
In my college I graduated to be a dance teacher in IDTA and UKA in all subjects I also teach Singing and Drama. I now teach in the following Schools: Liverpool Theatre school, Super Novas, The Clifton Hotel, Alhambra School of dance, Pirouette school, Premier, C.A.T.S (class acts theatre School), The Foundry, St.Margarets Primary School, Gatacre High School, St.Cecillas School, Halewood comp, Northcote primary, Cinnamon brow primary, Stagecoach (Warrington), Stagecoach (Wilmslow), Vogue and Magical Dance Workshops – (details on CV part 2 and others). *Panto’s in Neptune and Royal Court.
*Ricky Martin/Kylie lookalike, backing dancer in such clubs as Dome2 etc.
*A showgirl on the Ken Dodd tour.
*Entertained people at the Manchester Palace hotel for the victory celebration.
*Performed shows with Maghull Operatic Society.
*Radio city (96.7) school tour dancer.
*Backing dancer for Blazin squad.
*Featured in dance videos.
*Michelle and Friends on the Liverpool Empire.
*Modelling for Wade Smith in St.Georges Hotel.
*Toured with Beatles lookalikes as backing dancer and singer
*Hair modelling for Herbetts Hairdressers.
*Extra work for Ace films.
*Toured with Elvis lookalike in Blackpool Dancer/singer.
*Also choreographed many school shows dancing/singing and acting.
*Got to finales Miss. Great British Isles.
*Got down to last 10 in Triggar productions.
*My first London debut was performing at the London Palladium representing Siege.
*Presented and hosted many different shows.
*Recorded club song for Choker records which is getting released 2005 with Ministry Of Sound.
*Recorded dance projects with a local Liverpool DJ Carl Brand.
*Recorded a girl group project song with Steve Thornton productions.
*Featured in Question of Sports on one of the clues.
*Toured with Billy Idol lookalike as backing dancer.
*Podium danced for such clubs as Tokyo Joes, One4 Club and Everton Park Sports centre (with Juice 107.6fm).
*Backing dancer for Not Over yet ft Danielle.
*Backing dancer for Breeze & Styles – Heartbeat, Superstar and Object of my desire. |
