Mission Statement

“Footlights’ role is to encourage children and young people to develop within the performing arts, equip them with transferable life skills and help them establish values in teamwork, independence and thoughtfulness”.

We treat every child equally and we aim to ensure that every child at Footlights has the chance to fulfil their potential by providing high quality specialist teaching in safe, fun environments.  Footlights is a place to come together and to identify with other children who have a common interest; therefore we do not tolerate bullying in any form.

Our primary aims are to build confidence, give children the opportunity to express themselves creatively, and celebrate their individuality.

Our focus and commitment is based on enhancing your child’s education by teaching skills such as acting, dance, and singing,  social  interaction, confidence and communication skills, which are proven to transfer to their everyday home and school life.

We promise to give your child as many opportunities as possible and, for that reason, have daily updated news on auditions, publish a regular newsletter and frequently update our notice boards at schools, so you and your child can access information freely and at leisure.

We pride ourselves on a personal service, our tutors are always happy to discuss your child’s progress and calls are usually answered immediately; if that is not possible, your call will be returned within 24 hours.
